Violin + Singing workshop

We are thrilled to announce the X edition of the Stage de Musique in Promenois, taking place in September 2025. This special edition will focus on Instrumental Preparation, complemented by a Singing Workshop led by the celebrated soprano María Cristina Kiehr, offering participants an enriching and transformative musical experience.

Program Highlights

• Instrumental Preparation
  Daily classes with our outstanding faculty:

  • Anna Gebert (Violin)

  • Juan Braceras (Violin)

  • Federico Bosco (Piano)
    As the pianist correpetitor, Federico Bosco will play an active role in guiding participants on the art of playing with the piano, focusing on the subtleties of listening and collaboration in chamber music.

• Singing Workshop
  Guided by the internationally acclaimed soprano María Cristina Kiehr, this workshop will delve into the art of vocal interpretation, focusing on technique, style, and expression.

• Qi Gong and Shiatsu Therapies
  Each morning, Petra Arida will lead Qi Gong preparatory exercises to help participants focus and energize. Additionally, she will offer Shiatsu therapy sessions throughout the week for those interested.

Daily Schedule

Participants will receive classes every day with all the professors, creating a comprehensive and personalized learning experience in instrumental and vocal artistry.

Extra Activities

Beyond the intensive classes, the program includes a variety of enriching activities:

• Poetic rhetoric exercises to enhance musical expressiveness.

• Evening repertoire readings, exploring a wide range of instrumental and vocal works.

• Nature walks and shared contemplation of the stunning sunsets in the Bourgogne countryside.

• Games, surprises, and reflective moments to nurture creativity and camaraderie.

The Venue

The Stage de Musique will take place at the magnificent Château de Promenois, nestled in the idyllic Bourgogne region. Participants will enjoy the warm hospitality and delicious meals provided by Georg & Dorothea Fankhauser, ensuring an unforgettable stay.

How to Apply
Interested musician (violin) should send the following to stagemusiquepromenois@gmail.com:

1. A recording (solo or ensemble) showcasing his/her musicality.

2. Biography of the participant.

3. A motivation letter explaining why this week of intensive preparation would be valuable to his/her artistic journey.
