Chamber music + Tango workshop

We are thrilled to announce the IX edition of the Stage de Musique in Promenois, taking place in August 2025. This year, the program will offer a unique combination of Chamber Music Classes and a Tango Workshop, providing participants with a week of intensive study, creativity, and connection in a stunning setting.

Program Highlights

Chamber Music Classes

Tango Workshop
Every afternoon, participants will dive into the world of Tango, playing repertoire for "Orquesta Típica de Tango" where we will visit arrangements from the 50's 60's 70's with classes taught by:
- Roger Helou (Piano / Tango)
- Maxime Point (Bandoneon / Tango)
- Juan Braceras (Violin / Tango)
Qi Gong and Shiatsu Therapies
Each morning, Petra Arida will lead Qi Gong preparatory exercises to help participants center and energize. Additionally, she will offer Shiatsu therapy sessions throughout the week for those interested.

Daily Schedule

Participants will receive daily classes with all the professors, ensuring a well-rounded and immersive experience in both chamber music and tango.

Extra Activities

Throughout the week, participants will also enjoy a variety of activities designed to inspire and foster a sense of community:

Poetic rhetoric exercises to explore the expressive dimensions of music.
Evening chamber music readings to discover and share repertoire.
Nature walks and group contemplation of breathtaking sunsets in the beautiful Bourgogne region.
Games, surprises, and plenty of opportunities for creative and personal reflection.

The Venue

The Stage de Musique will take place at the breathtaking Château de Promenois, located in the picturesque Bourgogne region. Participants will be warmly hosted and nourished for the entire week by Georg & Dorothea Fankhauser, who make this experience unforgettable.
